The graduation campaign of KLM is a campaign with a full focus on youth; the KLM travellers of the future. The page has a mobile first focus and it consists of a large amount of video content. This is perfect for the short level of suspense of the young target audience.
LiveWall developed, in close collaboration with NEEW, the campaign page. Highschool graduates could apply by raising a virtual flag, by means of a Google Streetview implementation. After the walkthrough of the registration flow, there was an opportunity to share the raised flag on social media.
To actually win the tickets, the contestants had to raise their flag on graduation day at the address they signed up with. KLM surprised the winners early in the morning with two dreamtickets.
SAN Accent awards
The results of the 2017 campaign were phenomenal. Not only did 45.000 students apply, the campaign also won two SAN Accent Awards in the categories: Leisure & Services.
